`Twas the Night Before Christmas on Sesame Street! is a 2014 Sesame Street storybook. In the book, Cookie Monster takes part in a Sesame version of the Christmas poem, "A Visit from St. Nicholas."
Cookie Monster is awakened on Christmas Eve by the arrival of Santa Claus and his reindeer. However, as expected, Cookie has eaten the traditional cookies for Santa. Elmo and others help Cookie Monster out.
The book was originally released in 2014, but was reissued in 2018 as both a board book and a hardcover, with new cover art.
In 2019, the book was sold in a bundle with an Elmo plush at Kohl's, the sales of which benefited the Kohl's Cares merchandise program.
