Olafurdarriolafsson

Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (b. 1973) is an Icelandic actor who voiced the Mystic Archer on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

Born in Connecticut, Ólafsson's family returned to Iceland while he was still a child. He began his acting career in Icelandic film and television, with main roles in director Ragnar Bragason's Fiasco and Children, a well as the lead in 2012's The Deep and as police chief Andri Olafsson on Trapped (2015, second season 2019). His first English-language film was Beowulf & Grendel, shot in Iceland, while later English-speaking film work included small parts in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (with Ben Stiller), The Spy Who Dumped Me, and Zoolander 2 and larger supporting roles in Walk Among the Tombstones (with Liam Neeson), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, The Meg, The BFG, and Murder Mystery (with Adam Sandler).

English-language TV credits include regular roles on the Netflix series Lady Dynamite (as Maria Bamford's love interest), The Widow (with Charles Dance) and NOS4A2 (with Zachary Quinto), recurring on Emerald City and The Missing, and episodes of Banshee, New Amsterdam, and True Detective.
