In one installment, Oscar misses the question "Alphabetically, which number comes first?" with the correct answer being 24. This leads to a humorous conversation in which Saget asks if it isn't what Oscar and his fellow Muppets do on ''Sesame Street'', to which Oscar replies that only knows the number of letters ''in'' the alphabet. He also remarks that the Dahm Triplets like him.

Oscar1vs100

1 vs 100 is an NBC game show hosted by Bob Saget which premiered in October 2007, in which contestants compete against a group of 100 people, referred to as "The Mob," for a cash prize.

Oscar the Grouch, played by Caroll Spinney, made an appearance as part of The Mob in several consecutive episodes, the first of which aired on January 11, 2008.

In one installment, Oscar misses the question "Alphabetically, which number comes first?" with the correct answer being 24. This leads to a humorous conversation in which Saget asks if it isn't what Oscar and his fellow Muppets do on Sesame Street, to which Oscar replies that only knows the number of letters in the alphabet. He also remarks that the Dahm Triplets like him.

In another episode, Oscar mistakenly called Saget "Howie," presumably thinking he was Howie Mandel, the host of another popular NBC game show, Deal or No Deal. Saget later got back at Oscar for this by calling him "Cookie Monster."

Among the other celebrities apearing during Oscar's run were The Tonight Show's Ross the Intern and Evan Marriott, the original Joe Millionaire.
