American Movie Classics is a cable channel founded in 1984, focusing primarily on movies. In December 2015, the channel aired several Muppet movies as part of its AMC December block. AMC aired a Muppet movie marathon, featuring The Muppet Movie, A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa, Muppet Treasure Island, and The Great Muppet Caper, on December 11 and 22.
Parent company AMC Networks owns a variety of cable channels internationally, including India's Panda HD Channel. As of 2020, Panda aired Sesame Street.[1]
