Ernie, Bert, and Big Bird go to the Sesame Street Zoo to see the new panda, but are sad to learn that the exhibit has not opened yet. From a non-enclosed tiger exhibit to an exhibit with all the animals of Africa in one cage, Big Bird, Ernie, and Bert learn that there's always something new at the zoo. At the end, Willie and his mother (who works at the zoo) take the trio in to see the panda.
