Abbott Elementary is a sitcom that premiered on ABC in 2021. Created by and starring Quinta Brunson, the mockumentary series centers around the staff of the titular inner-city public school.
In a January 10, 2022 interview with Variety on the red carpet of the 2022 Golden Globe Awards, Brunson expressed interest in having "Cookie Monster...[and] the Sesame Street gang" make a guest appearance on the show. Cookie Monster's official Twitter account responded asking what the school's cookie policy is.[1]
