"Sea Chantey"

Abe Burrows (1910-1985) was a composer and writer whose career began in old-time radio (including The Danny Kaye Show) and later included writing Broadway shows, notably Guys and Dolls and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and script-doctoring others. He is the father of television director James Burrows.

In 1977, when dining at Joe Raposo's house, Jim Henson met fellow guests Abe Burrows and Ted Geisel.[1] In addition, five songs by Burrows have been used on The Muppet Show:

"When", "Memory Lane", and "Carbon Paper" also appeared on Rowlf's 1993 album Ol' Brown Ears is Back.
