Absolutely Fabulous (also known as Ab Fab) is a British TV comedy that has aired on and off between 1992 and 2005. The show is about self-centered fad follower Edina Monsoon and her best friend Patsy Stone, who make life miserable for Edina's straightlaced daughter, Saffron.

- In the fifth series episode "Exploitin'," which aired in December 2003, Patsy expresses her dislike for Saffy's new baby by flicking cigarette ashes into the baby's crib. While Saffy and Edina argue, Patsy picks up one of the baby's toys, sneering "Is this a Muppet?"

- The show is spoofed in the 1997 calendar Muppet Parody Calendar: The Sequel as Tres Fabuleux!, with Miss Piggy as Edina and Janice as Patsy.
- Episode 3328 of Sesame Street features Heddy and Teddy, two delivery women who bear physical and vocal resemblance to Edina and Patsy. At one point, Teddy comments that they don't know what's inside the box they're delivering, but they're sure it's "absolutely fabulous."
