Absolutely Fabulous (also known as Ab Fab) is a British TV comedy that has aired on and off between 1992 and 2005. The show is about self-centered fad follower Edina Monsoon and her best friend Patsy Stone, who make life miserable for Edina's straightlaced daughter, Saffron.

In the fifth series episode "Exploitin'", which aired in December 2003, Patsy expresses her dislike for Saffy's new baby by flicking cigarette ashes into the baby's crib. While Saffy and Edina argue, Patsy picks up one of the baby's toys, sneering "Is this a Muppet?"

The show is spoofed the show in the 1997 calendar Muppet Parody Calendar: The Sequel as Tres Fabuleux!, with Miss Piggy as Edina and Janice as Patsy.

On Sesame Street, in a Season 27 episode[[[Episode 3328]]], two delivery women bearing physical and vocal resemblances to Edina and Patsy are seen. Although they don't know what is inside they are sure it's "Absolutely Fabulous."
