Adam Goldberg (b. 1976) is best known as the creator of ABC's hit sitcom The Goldbergs, loosely based on his own family. He is frequently credited as Adam F. Goldberg to differentiate from the actor of the same name.
Goldberg is one of four credited writers on the TV movie The Muppets' Wizard of Oz, penning the teleplay with The Simpsons writer Tom Martin from a story by Debra Frank and Steve L. Hayes. In 2022, Goldberg was announced as co-creator on The Muppets Mayhem with Bill Barretta and Jeff Yorkes.
His other work includes writing for the sitcoms Still Standing and Aliens in America, as well as the film Aliens in the Attic and several Dreamworks straight-to-video featurettes. He co-created the short-lived sitcom Breaking In (2011-2012) and was a consulting producer on the fourth season of Community.
