Agnes is the assistant director to Kermit the Frog on a film version of the musical Oklahoma! It's her job to come out with the clapperboard and announce each take, which she has to do several times, since star Forgetful Jones can never seem to sing the right vowel. She helps Forgetful to finally get it right by showing him the capital letter O on her board. But when Forgetful finally succeeds in singing it the way it was meant to be sung, Agnes herself interrupts the filming to announce that it is now time for lunch. She tells the cast and crew it's being served by the pigsty, adding "Try not to make a mess."
Agnes is named after the legendary ballet choreographer Agnes DeMille, who staged the dances in the original stage and film versions of Oklahoma!
