"Air" is a Sesame Street song performed by Guy Smiley promoting the use of air. He leads his marching band through the walls of a barbershop, every time the barber says a word out loud that rhymes with "air" to a hard-of-hearing customer.
The segment parodies the Dodge advertisements in the late 1980s, in which a high-spirited spokesman in a white tuxedo bursts onto various genre scenes when the word "deal" is said.
