Alan Cagan

Alan Cagan, registered with ASCAP as Alan E. Cagan, is a composer who has scored animated inserts on Sesame Street. In early seasons, he co-composed with Dick Lavsky the moog music used in letter segments such as "Melvin the Moving Man" as well as inserts for R, S, and N. He went on to score most of the segments from animator Fred Garbers, including the Anansi series.

Cagan supplied music and sound effects to commercials and other projects under his company Pisces Music. He composed music for the HBO series Braingames.
