Alex is an orange Muppet boy, the central character of the Sesame Street resource video Little Children, Big Challenges: Incarceration.
Alex copes with his father being in jail, and at first, he's hesitant to talk about it with Rosita, Abby Cadabby, and Sofía. Sofía reveals that her father was also incarcerated, and she identifies with the big feelings he has. Alex's friends assure him that he's not alone and they're here to support him.
Alex reappeared with Sofía and Rosita in a short online video produced in 2016 for the Sesame Street in Communities initiative page on incarceration.
