Alex Rockwell is a producer and writer of children's entertainment. She worked at Children's Television Workshop before working directly with Jim Henson as his creative assistant. Rockwell has collaborated with The Jim Henson Company on many projects over the years.
Rockwell first met Jim Henson in February 1988[1] and started working with him as his personal creative assistant in March of that year.[2]
Her producer credits include The Jim Henson Hour, Muppet*Vision 3D, Dinosaurs, Muppets Tonight, Bear in the Big Blue House, Muppets from Space, The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland, and Muppet Moments.
In 2008, she was interviewed for an episode of the Jim Henson Company Podcast; she also appeared on The Barretta Brothers podcast in 2020 for the 30th anniversary of Dinosaurs. She contributed to Henson's memorial in WD Eye in 1990 and was interviewed for the 2024 documentary Jim Henson: Idea Man.

- Rockwell assisted Jim Henson and Richard Hunt by "puppeteering meatballs" during a May 19, 1988 appearance by the Swedish Chef on Good Morning America.[3]
