Ali Baba is the protagonist of the tale "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" from One Thousand and One Nights. He is interviewed by Kermit the Frog in a "Sesame Street News Flash" sketch, in front of the cave of the forty thieves.
The absent-minded Mr. Baba can't remember the second of the magic words to open the cave, however. He only recalls that it begins with S. He gives up ("Oh, shucks") and departs.
