Alice is a red-haired alligator who lives in Kermit's Swamp. She wears a straw hat with a blue ribbon tied around it.
Alice is invited to the good-bye party that Kermit the Frog throws at the end of Kermit, Save the Swamp! Although she had been looking forward to the Swamp World shopping mall and amusement park, she has second thoughts when Kermit points out that the pond in which she swims will be drained. "Where would I go?" asks Alice. Eventually, she joins with the other swamp inhabitants in the decision not to sell their land to developers.
