Alice is a sitcom which ran from 1976 to 1985 on CBS. Based on the Martin Scorsese film Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, it focuses on waitress Alice Hyatt, a single mother who aspires to be a professional singer, and her travails at Mel's Diner. Sassy fellow waitress Flo starred in her own one season spinoff, Flo.
