Alison Inches (b. January 29, 1962) is a writer who has penned several Muppet books as well as the non-fiction book Jim Henson's Designs and Doodles.
Her other work includes writing books for various franchises, including Raggedy Ann, Dragon Tales, SpongeBob SquarePants, Barbie, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Dora the Explorer, Bob the Builder, Blue’s Clues, and Corduroy.
