"All I Want for Christmas (Is My Two Front Teeth)" is a Christmas song written by music teacher Donald Yetter Gardner in 1944 when he realized that most of his students were missing one or more of their front teeth. The song was first recorded by Spike Jones and the City Slickers in 1947, reached the top of the charts in 1948, and has since become a holiday classic.
Count von Count sang the song (referring to his two distinctive fangs) on the 1975 album Merry Christmas from Sesame Street. The Count claims that the tune is a popular carol in his native Transylvania, having first learned it from his dentist.
Elmo sang the song with Michael Bublé on Michael Bublé: Home for the Holidays.
