Allan Neuwirth was co-developer, writer, and associate producer for Big Bag and co-writer of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. He also wrote lyrics for songs such as "Fruzzle Floom Fruit." Neuwirth has also written books about television, and worked as a writer and developer for many television series, including Jelly Jamm, The Octonauts, Speed Racer: The Next Generation, Arthur, Dragon Tales, Cyberchase and Courage the Cowardly Dog. In 2011, Neuwirth wrote the Hallmark Christmas special, Jingle All the Way.

Neuwirth co-created the internationally syndicated comic strip Chelsea Boys with illustrator/writer Glen Hanson in 1998, and co-authored the graphic novel Wonder Woman vs. The Red Menace in 2001.
