Altana appears in the Farscape episode "Home on the Remains." She knows Chiana from their time together at the Budong mining colony.
In the time since Chiana left, Altana found a vein of nogelti crystals, worth enough money for ten lifetimes. Altana is preparing to leave the colony and offers Chiana a share of the crystals. However, Altana has yet to mine them, and following the death of Temmon, B'Sogg has closed the mines.
Since Chiana's share is enough to get Zhaan some food, D'Argo agrees to travel into the mines with Altana to get the crystals. In the mines, the two are attacked by the Keedva which kills Altana.
