Kermit-ComedyAwards

The American Comedy Awards was instituted in 1987 and telecast on ABC, Fox and Comedy Central until 2001. NBC aired the most recent ceremony in 2014.

Kermit the Frog appeared in the 1989 ceremony, reading the nominations for "Funniest Male Performer in a TV Series (Leading Role)" with Louie Anderson. Kermit takes offense to the fact that only humans are nominated.
