The American Writers Museum is a museum focused on American literature. It opened in 2017 in Chicago, Illinois.
In December 2023, Skippy Squirrel visited the museum to promote the 2023 production of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas, appearing in two, short online videos. One video features Skippy reading a book, and in the other, he types on a typewriter.
