Andrew Ames writes for Robin in Muppet Magazine
Andrew Ames is a producer who was VP Global Production for Sesame Workshop from 2008 to 2011. During this time, he received credit as producer or supervising producer on the specials Coming Home and Families Stand Together. After leaving Sesame Workshop, he co-produced and scripted material for the documentary Sesame Street: 50 Years & Still Sunny!
As a freelance writer in the early 1980s, Ames contributed to the first issue of Muppet Magazine, writing the interview with Joe Greene in character as Robin the Frog. Ames also wrote for Good Morning America and the Disney Channel during this period. He was a producer for later seasons of Reading Rainbow and on documentary series including Save Our History and Born to Explore.
