AnnBurgund

Ann Burgund is a producer and artist who worked on Sesame Street during its first five years.

Burgund was initially hired as an "information assistant," aiding the show's public relations team. Jon Stone soon promoted her to film production for the series, where her role was to collect and edit stock footage for live-action inserts, which would then receive music scores from Joe Raposo. She produced about 60 films for the show, including "Flying" and "Little Things."

Burgund was also responsible for altering the American inserts for the earliest foreign co-productions, removing any English audio and text to be redubbed and replaced. She and her department were downsized in 1974 due to budget cuts.

Post-Sesame Street, Burgund went on to various different roles, including associate producer for The Mask (starring Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz).
