Anne Bancroft (1931-2005) was an actress best known for her roles in The Miracle Worker, The Graduate, Garbo Talks and Torch Song Trilogy.
She appeared in The Muppets Go Hollywood in 1979, with her husband Mel Brooks.
Bancroft was spoofed by Miss Piggy in the 1999 calendar Muppet Movie Parodies: Our Wedding or Your Funeral, in The Undergraduate.
