Anne Heche (1969-2022) was an American actress, who appeared in the television shows Hung, Men in Trees and Nip/Tuck.
Heche was interviewed by Kermit and Miss Piggy on the red carpet of the 2004 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
Her other television credits include Murphy Brown, the soap opera Another World, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Ally McBeal and voicing Lois Lane in Superman/Doomsday. Film credits include The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Donnie Brasco (with Johnny Depp and Al Pacino), the remake of Psycho, and she appeared in Proof and Twentieth Century (with Alec Baldwin) on Broadway.
She made headlines in the late 1990s when she dated comedian Ellen DeGeneres, who had recently come out publicly as a lesbian.
