Anne Meara, trying to donate a tree for Israel in Shalom Sesame
Anne Meara (1929-2015) was a comic actress and one half of the team Stiller and Meara, with husband Jerry Stiller. She made three appearances on Shalom Sesame, in Shows 9-11. In the early 1970s, she also provided voice-over work for a series of "silent film" clips on Sesame Street and provided the voice of Flossee in an animated insert.
Her son, Ben Stiller, has also appeared on Sesame Street.
