Anneliese Fleyenschmidt (1919-2007) was a German television personality who alternated as one of the two female panelists on Was bin ich? (the German version of What's My Line?) from the mid 1960s to 1988. She guest starred on Sesamstrasse in 1980, joining in the special edition of Was ben ich? in Folge 0755.
Fleyenschmidt worked for Bayerisch Rundfunk (BR), the Bavarian member of Germany's ARD broadcasting group, beginning in 1945. She took mostly minor parts and occasionally announced radio plays, including William Faulkner's Pylon (1952) and Das Schicksal gibt Herrn Morris eine Chance (1954, with Leo Bardischewski). In the latter year, she entered television as an on-camera announcer, stating the upcoming show, continuity transitions, or when the evening programming began. She became an interviewer and then co-host of evening series after that.
