Ansel is a photographer hired to take The Sinclair Family portrait in the fourth season Dinosaurs episode "Driving Miss Ethyl." Ansel is also a licensed family therapist, and when the family's squabbling threatens the integrity of the picture, he intervenes with a group session.
The character is named after the famous American photographer Ansel Adams.
