Arnold Schnuffleupanegger is a Snuffleupagus who appeared in Episode 3153 of Sesame Street to give Mr. Snuffleupagus and some kids an exercising lesson. He speaks with a heavy Austrian accent. While his lessons primarily involve moving the snuffle, Schnuffleupanegger says that hands, arms, or whatever you have can also be used for the exercises.
The character is a reference to the actor, weightlifter, and former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger. As Schnuffleupanegger leaves for his next class, he tells his pupils, "I'll be back. Hasta la vista, baby!" referencing Schwarzenegger's famous film series, The Terminator.
The puppet used for the character was also used for Mommy Snuffleupagus and various other Snuffleupaguses.
