Arnold Schwarzenegger (b. 1947) is an actor most famous for his action movie roles, including The Terminator series. He was elected Governor of California in 2003, and served until 2011.
Schwarzenegger appeared on the same 1977 edition of the talk-show Russell Harty as the Muppets (although they did not interact) and later on played Prince Hapi in the Creature Shop-effects movie Around the World in 80 Days.
On October 18, 2023, Schwarzenegger appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show where he received a dirty sock bookmark as a gift from Oscar the Grouch and tried on a pair of Muppet monster glasses.
His other roles include Conan the Barbarian, Twins (with Danny DeVito), Total Recall (with Sharon Stone), True Lies (with Jamie Lee Curtis), and playing Mr. Freeze in Batman & Robin.

- In a Grover and Mr. Johnson sketch on Sesame Street, Mr. Johnson visits the gym where Grover is an instructor. While working with Mr. Johnson, Grover calls out to some of the other unseen clients, including Sly, Arnold, Mr. Piscopo (Joe), and Mr. Palance.
- An animated parody of Arnold Schwarzenegger (or, as Fozzie calls him, "Arnold Schwarzenhopper," "Sheepenherder," and "Shirtsensniffer") appears in the Muppet Babies episode "The Best Friend I Never Had" leading a workout routine for the babies.
- As Baby Skeeter tried to pedal her tricyle without back wheels in the Muppet Babies episode "Faster than a Speeding Weirdo," she quips that even "Arnold Schwarzenberger" couldn't have done it.
- Miss Piggy made Kermit include Arnold Schwarzenegger in the speech that he attempted to make in the 1993 appearance at the Royal Variety Performance.
- In the Muppet Parodies 1998 Calendar, and again in a 1999 "Movie Mania" interstitial, Kermit parodied Schwarzenegger in one of his most famous movie roles as The Kerminator.
