Artie the Ant is an insect who appears in Episode 5205 of Sesame Street.
He is smaller than the other ants in his colony, meaning he has much difficulty in moving a large crumb left by Cookie Monster. Bug Scouts Cookie, Elmo, and Abby Cadabby vow to help the ant. Abby magically shrinks Elmo and Cookie to Artie's size and figure out a way they can move the heavy cookie crumb to the anthill.
The puppet was later used on The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo in episode 212.
