Ashanti, Kermit the Frog, and Miss Piggy at the Tribeca Film Festival
Ashanti (b. Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas in 1980) is an R&B singer who played Dorothy Gale in The Muppets' Wizard of Oz in 2005. Ashanti later reprised the role in New York City Center's 2009 production of The Wiz.
