Akseralian touches up B.P. Richfield for Dinosaurs.
Astrig Akseralian is an artist who worked for Jim Henson's Creature Shop as a freelance painter and art finisher on several Henson projects during the 1990s.
After studying ceramics at the Central School of Art and Design in London, she ran a ceramics studio before entering the film industry with the Creature Shop. She worked for 27 years in the film industry as a painter and art finisher on creature effects and prosthetics for films such as Mars Attacks!, The Mummy, Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Gladiator, Band of Brothers, the Harry Potter films, Corpse Bride, and X-Men: First Class.
After leaving the film industry, Akseralian has focused on painting. Her works have been displayed at Cambridge Contemporary Art, the Bevere Gallery, the A2 Gallery, and Moorwood Art.
