Audra McDonald

Audra McDonald (b. 1970) is an American singer and actress. She has won five Tony Awards (sharing the record for most wins by an actor) for her roles in the Broadway musicals Carousel, Ragtime, and Porgy and Bess and the plays Master Class and Raisin in the Sun. She has also appeared on TV's Private Practice.

McDonald provided the singing vocals for a chicken in the "Circus the Musical" episode of "Elmo the Musical," performing the song "Keep on Clucking." She will also be making an appearance in person in a future episode and has previously recorded a cover of "Bein' Green."
