Baby Cookie Monster appears in the Sesame Beginnings series consisting of direct-to-home-video releases and related media. Baby Cookie's tastes are generally similar to that of the more grown-up Cookie Monster: he loves cookies, and parties as well. He went straight from crawling, to running and is usually seen playing around the house with his toys, and is full of energy. Baby Cookie Monster is 16 months old, and is primarily seen with his Grandma in these appearances.
Outside of Sesame Beginnings, Cookie Monster has also been seen as a baby in "The First Time Me Eat Cookie".
Baby Cookie Monster is the only baby not to be performed by the same actor as his older counterpart.

- The Baby Cookie Monster puppet was on display between 2008 and 2013 at The University of Connecticut.
- The Baby Cookie Monster puppet was later repurposed as Cookie Monster's niece on The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo.
