An ancient B who has been to Babylon
Babylon was the capital of the Babylonian Empire in Mesopotamia, during two distinct periods BC. While one of the most famous ancient cities, most of what is known about it beyond the surviving ruins comes from The Bible, the Greek historian Herodotus, and other classical accounts (which often conflict with each other). The hanging gardens of Babylon were proclaimed one of the ancient wonders of the world, said to have been built by King Nebuchadnezzer II. The king, conflated with other Babylonian rulers, figures prominently in the Biblical book of Daniel, while according to Genesis, the Tower of Babel was located there. In modern culture, as with certain Egyptian landmarks, the name itself evokes ancient splendor and mysteries.
