The Bad Humor Man is a denizen of Grouchland who appears in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. A Grouch ice cream vendor, his specialty is anchovy swirl with street pavement topping.
The character is identified in the film credits as "Grouch Ice Cream Vendor," but in production notes as "Bad Humor Man." The Bad Humor name and logo are a take-off of popular ice cream brand Good Humor.
The Bad Humor Man had appeared earlier in Episode 3085. Here he was made from a different grouch puppet and performed by Jerry Nelson.
