Cantus the Minstrel, as "The Shadowy Figure," sings "Ball of Fire" to convince Junior Gorg that he can do whatever he puts his mind to in the Fraggle Rock episode "Junior Faces the Music." The upbeat song is also used as an instrumental under Cantus' entrance and is reprised later in the episode.
The song returns in the Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock episode "Wembley the Spokesfraggle," performed by Jack Hammer (voiced by guest star Kenan Thompson) to persuade Wembley Fraggle to promote the new, unpopular Doozer sticks.
