Barry Blueberry is the very genial commentator for the Giggle Gaggle Games, as seen in the Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock episode of the same name.
He responds to all the action, good or bad, with the same level of enthusiasm, often inserting his own name into his commentary at random. He also provides the literal cliffhanger for the episode as he hangs off a cliff in the Great Hall. He is shown to have an artistic side in the episode "All of Us," where it is revealed that he drew up the Fraggles' plans to destroy the Gorgs' fountain.
For the second season of Back to the Rock, Barry continues his commentating and announcement duties, occasionally joined by Sherry Contrary who acts as a co-commentator and rival. More of his personal life is revealed this season; while not on duty, he trades his flashy blue suit for a snazzy blue tracksuit and speaks in quieter tones (so as not to throw out his voice). In "The Great Radish Ball" he is seen in his sleepwear, drinking from a mug festooned with his own face.
