The Bass is one of many Muppet fish that appeared in the "Splish Splash" musical number from The Jim Henson Hour episode 102, and on episode 204 of Muppets Tonight. He also made audience cameos on the show.
Another puppet appeared on a The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss episode with another bass (without the eyelids), Muppets Tonight in the "NYPD Green" sketch in episode 106.
