Bella appears in the Sesame Street Christmas special, Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas.

In a bedtime story told to Elmo by his father, Bella runs an enchanted curiosity shop, accompanied by Holly. Their store magically appears on the street (in the store space later occupied by the Bike Shop) and initially Elmo (the ancestor of present-day Elmo) is the only one to see it. Bella and Holly help track the holiday spirit in various areas around the world where spirit seems in short supply. She and Holly help Elmo and his friends find ways to boost Christmas spirit, allowing for the arrival of Santa Claus.
