Bert's Hall of Great Inventions is a 1972 Sesame Street Little Golden Book featuring Ernie and Bert.

The plot revolves around Bert trying to show Ernie all sorts of amazing inventions from throughout history, and Ernie pointing out (to Bert's consternation) that there are animals who already have things similar to those inventions: birds already have wings, like Bert's airplane; fireflies already light up, like Bert's light bulb; elephants can already shoot water out of their noses, like Bert's hose; etc.

The teaching point of the book is to show how many natural wonders that exist in the animals around us.
