Best in Snow is a Disney+ original special released on November 18, 2022.
Hosted by Tituss Burgess (as Mayor Frostifer von Fjord), the special pits artists from all over the world to create snow sculptures inspired by various divisions of the Walt Disney Company, including the Muppets Studio. The team "Bah Humbugs" take up the task of making a sculpture based on The Muppet Christmas Carol, which features Jacob and Robert Marley, Charles Dickens, Rizzo, and two Muppet penguins. The team ultimately ties with "Coco's Carvers" (responsible for a sculpture based on the Pixar film Coco).
Kermit the Frog appears throughout the special, starting on the second day of the competition. He tries to find a role for himself in the proceedings, such as a carver or judge, before ultimately joining Mayor von Fjord and the town carolers (DCappella) for an acapella performance of "We Need a Little Christmas" to celebrate the end of the competition. A pair of Muppet penguins (named Peggy and Paul) also appear. During the end credits, Kermit and the penguins participate in their own talking head interviews.
Matt Vogel is credited as Kermit, with Bradley Freeman Jr. credited as "Supporting Muppet Performer."
