BeverlyGlennCopeland

Beverly Glenn-Copeland (b. 1944) is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter. He wrote the song "Sad, Mad, Glad" for the 1981 Sesame Street album Camping in Canada. He also made at least one appearance on the co-production Canadian Sesame Street to perform the song "We All Feel the Same Way Then" (which he co-wrote with Lilly Barnes).

For 25 years, Glenn-Copeland was a regular performer on the CBC children's series Mr. Dressup; he also wrote songs for Shining Time Station. In 2025, Glenn-Copeland co-created and starred in the children's show pilot Caring Cabin (with Ali J. Eisner, Tim Gosley, and Ingrid Hansen).

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Glenn-Copeland moved to Canada to attend McGill University in Montreal. Glenn-Copeland, who came out as a trans man in 2002, released several albums in the 1970s and 1980s, but his discography earned belated recognition when his 1986 album Keyboard Fantasies, which had become a cult favorite among audiophiles, was reissued in 2017.
