"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" is a classic novelty song written for the Disney movie Cinderella. The song itself received popular recordings and radio airings in 1949, prior to the film's release, including by Dinah Shore.

  • In Episode 2033 of Sesame Street Telly attempts to get Cinderella out of his storybook in order to help her. When Mumford's usual magic words don't work in changing Cinderella's rags to more proper clothing, Maria suggests that he say, "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" instead. To everyone's surprise, the new words work.
  • Telly uses the same words to try and make a pumpkin turn into a coach in Sesame Street in Episode 2623.
  • In a video shown at the 2009 D23 Expo, Fozzie, Gonzo and Pepe sing part of the song while figuring out the secrets of Disney Magic. The spell turns them into chickens, as well as prey for the Swedish Chef.
  • For episode 4238 of Sesame Street, the song is the basis for Abby's musical spells to help Leela get ready for a party.
