Big Bag was a British adaptation of the US Big Bag series, produced by Yorkshire Television in association with Children's Television Workshop. The series debuted on ITV in 1998, and ran for two series. While both US and UK versions shared the animated inserts, the wrap-around sequences were localized, with unique footage of Chelli and Bag with their human friends in the shop. Producers were Patrick Titley and Colin Nobbs. Directors were Patrick Titley, Colin Nobbs and Paul Wetherby.
