Big Bird's Video Postcards are a series of Sesame Street segments which debuted in Season 24. In each, Big Bird travels to a different part of the United States and learns about people of different ethnicities, participating in their cultural activities or pastimes. The segments begin with graphics of a postcard, addressed to "Sesame Street, USA," which reads "Wish you were here! --Big Bird". In some respects, the segments served as a precursor to Global Grover.
In a departure from the norm, Miles and Gabi were featured in two segments in Season 29, in which they visited both U.S. Space Camp and the Kennedy Space Center. These segments were seen in a few of the episodes which focused on Slimey's journey to the moon.
